  The granny flat was built in 2015 with "Stella" design.
  It took nearly 9 months to complete with a lot of issues in between.
  
  In less than two years. we noticed bathroom door frame and cabinets doors was getting water damage. Department of fair trading was involved due to no reply with emails and follow up calls.
  
  Following fixes was in place by Rescon builder in 2018.
  
  - Door frame bottom was cut
  
  - Additional angle was installed around the shower screen
  
  In 2020 after tenant left. we noticed the door frame and cabinet water issues still exist and wall are damaged by water.
  
  Took 10 days for Rescon to reply with final decision and without sending any tradesman on site to investigate, Rescon suggested is not water proofing issue base on the photos.
  
  End up fixing everything from my end.
  
  Overall experience - "Awful"

  Take very long time than expected. I signed the contract end August 2021, start construction job February 2022. Until now October 2022 not finished yet. Staff very rude. Very disappointed. I Ended with lodge complaint to fair trading as more then 16k A$ value not installed yet!! Some rubbish not take it away

  The absolute worse company out there. I'd give a 0 star rating however unfortunately I can't. We would go months without seeing any trades and 2pm on a Sunday someone would show up for an hour. Lets just say we were put on the back burner.
  
  Due to how long it took the property became very overgrown which attracted rats and mice in the mountain of rubbish that was left there and even a snake was found in the overgrown grass. (Not good with two dogs).
  
  All I can say is stay far away there is much better out there.
  - Terrible service
  - Bad Quality
  - Took 12 months over Due date
  - left to flood
  - Would never recommend

  Our granny flat has taken ONE YEAR and is still not completed. Rescon do not have the courtesy to respond to emails querying indicative completion date. They only make contact to ask for extensions. The lack of comunication and professionalism is astounding. Don't go with this company

  I attended an open home and viewed a project they were using as a show home. This was terrible work and quite frankly embarrassing, especially to use as a display home.
  I took photos and will attempt to post them.
  - The floor was done after the skirting and instead of a flush finish where the skirting sits over the flooring, they tried to cover it up with a bead of sikaflex around the entire floor which looked terrible!
  - They have done similar around the kitchen benchs with a poorly done timber bead.
  - There was damage to the walls in lots of places which was just painted over.
  - The window architraves (window frames) were all damaged and dented and the painted looked slopped on with lumps and runs.
  - The door strikers were butchered on and you could see through the door jamb to the internal framing as they just shoved a speed ball drill through the entire door jam and wall! This is unacceptable.
  - Outside there were gaps between the weatherboard cladding where a jointer should cover it.
  I hope the owners get compensated for the terrible workmanship.
